First, I want to apologize for not updating my Bookmarking Demon Review / Diary! I can’t believe its been 4 months already! Time just seems to FLY by!

I have been soooo busy working on a series of blogs setup to promote eBay affiliate EPN products –[ I learned the technique on Earn1KaDay private forum ] — that will start adding to my eBay affiliate commissions in a huge way. I set them up in the first two weeks of June and have been tweaking a bit. They are starting to get sales now — YEAHHHH! Plus, I created 4 content websites to sell. Wrote tons of articles, created a bunch of Squidoo lens … Anyway, I digress, back to …

Bookmarking Demon Review / Diary - Update

I downloaded Bookmarking Demon with no problems & set it up. Then I went to their “help” section. This is where you are given complete instructions & videos on getting started. Setup was pretty easy, yet a little time-consuming.

One of the best things about Bookmarking Demon is you can randomize your titles, and descriptions — plus have it auto-register you to bookmarking sites for as many memberships as you like (don’t over do it, or your IP will get banned). I ran a couple of pages thru to get bookmarked and they were successfully bookmarked on 16 (if I remember right) bookmarking sites.

It also does something with “Scuttles” I don’t know what “Scuttles” are, but you can get backlinks (I think) from ALOT of them. I haven’t taken the time to learn about them or set up Bookmarking Demon for them yet.

Now, me being me, who jumps around on what I focus on for any given moment …

After initially using bookmarking demon, I pretty much forgot about it — Sorry! Yet, when I decided to go back and use it because I had setup more sites that I wanted to bookmark, I found they had updated to Bookmarking Version 3 — which corrected some problems and added more features.

Yet, they had also reduced the number of bookmarking sites due to the sites changing algo’s to keep out auto-posters!

I also found out they are going to be updating to Bookmarking Demon Version 4 sometime this July 2008 — AND increasing the price to I don’t know what! Since they are going to be updating to V4, with new setup, etc. I decided to wait until they do, before re-learning everything.

Onward & Upward!

I found the BEST free spyware remover, adware / malware remover.  It took some time, (11 days), yet, it took care of my spyware problem; and probably can help you with yours.

If this post can help ANYONE shorten their Spyware Horror, it is well worth my time to write it and post it.

Most spyware programs CANNOT get ALL of the crap off your computer.  There are just SO many spyware, trojans, malware, adware, virus’ etc. that come out DAILY that the spyware software developers can’t keep up … until now.

On May 11 2008, I was hit with the WORST Trojan Malware Virus Spyware thing that brought my computer DOWN to being virtually Useless!

I could only go online in safe mode.  My internet explorer was corrupted — ie6 –.  When I tried to read my email 50 popups hit my screen.  I couldn’t view any important websites — the pages came up blank. 

It was AWFUL and FRUSTRATING.

The only way to avoid the pop ups and see anything online was in safe-mode, which is NOT an optimum way to surf, believe me.

I was really mad … I had McAfee running in the background and it let this crap through! 

My first step was to try to clean my PC.  While in safe mode I googled best spyware.  I ignored the ads and tried to find forum posts.

It seemed a majority of posts advised using Spybot — which I downloaded and installed.  Spybot did find a few virus’ BUT, it made my surfing WORSE in that everything came to a complete Stall!  I do NOT recommend Spybot. (It also did something to my IE security settings — which I COULD not change back)

There were recommendations for AVG Anti-spyware. There were posts that said AVG would definitely get rid of my problems.  NOPE — didn’t work. 

Whatever was on my computer was insidious!  It had erased all of my “restore” points, so I couldn’t even restore my computer prior to the virus hit — nasty bugger!

I tried several other programs — all of which would find one or two other virus’ that were missed from individual spyware programs.  But STILL No Luck …

Still couldn’t view many web pages, still was getting massive popups (yes, I had it turned off in ie).

Finally, I found a post on a some little forum that advised using SuperAntiSpyware.  That it will get rid of pc bugs that the others don’t.

So, I headed on over to their site & downloaded the Free SuperAntispyware, installed it and let it run.

It found 54 Virus’/Trojans/Bugs that the other “big name” programs had missed!  I cleaned them off of my PC and Voila, I was surfing again!

But … OH NO!  The next morning when I tried to go online, EVERYTHING horrible was back!  The popups, the blank pages.

So, I headed over to Superantispyware and clicked on their “Support” button and initiated a support ticket.  I told them that I had used the Free version of their Spyware, found a ton of bugs, cleaned them and I am still having problems.

I received an email back from their support telling me to click on the URL (in the email) and initiate a scan on my computer so they can try to find and diagnose what bug(s) were not being killed by their anti-spyware.  This is ALL Free — you don’t find that very often.  I clicked thru and ran their PC Diagnose & updated the ticket.

Anyway, the next day, I got an answer from them regarding the diagnose scan, telling me to update my SuperSpyware program (you simply click on the button in the program interface on your computer), then to run a FULL scan of my computer.

They advised they had found several bugs on my PC and had updated SuperAntiSpyware specifically for those bugs!

I did as advised, updated the program, then ran a FULL scan.  It found 8 more Bugs … in my registry and other very hard to find places.

Once my PC was restarted, the bugs were gone and things have been BLISSFUL every since!  I went ahead and purchased the Professional SuperAntispyware — this runs in the background and gives you continuous protection — it is WELL worth the $29.95!

This whole nightmare was over 11 days from start to finish.

I’m not kidding … You won’t find a better anti-spyware program out there.  Don’t waste your time.  Use SuperAntispyware.  If it doesn’t work immediately, contact their support and they will FIND what is on YOUR PC and update their software to specifically fix YOUR PC!

Bookmarking Demon - My Experience: 

As many of you are aware, social bookmarking your sites is an excellent way to get targetted traffic, backlinks and fast search engine indexing.

The problem with bookmarking your sites is the TIME it takes.  Just setting up the accounts can take over an hour (yet well worth it). 

I have been creating quite a few sites lately, and had been using Onlywire — which now only works on a few social bookmarking sites.  So, I started using  http://ekstreme.com/socializer/ Socializer 2.0, which is an Excellent semi-auto bookmarking site/service.  Yet, the TIME it takes is still too much.

I had heard about Auto-Social Poster ($197)  and it has great reviews, yet it ONLY bookmarks WP blogs. 

Then I read about Bookmarking Demon ($97).  I did a search on Google to see if I could find any negative information, using keyword phrases like Bookmarking Demon problem, etc.  Couldn’t find anything — just great reviews — that doesn’t mean it works though.

So, I decided I would buy it and write this “Bookmarking Demon Diary” – they’re on clickbank, so I know I can get my money back if it doesn’t work.

And, I will post how well the instructions are, plus how well it works, in about a week or so.
